Although you may not be royalty, your home is certainly your kingdom. Let's act like it.
You'll have to decide how to organize the pile of clothes on the chair, determine what to do with your large book collection, and decide what to do with your nightstand once and for all.

Check out these home organizing hacks that will make your space feel brand new!

Set your cleaning schedule
Think of one minor and one major cleaning day. Having a minor cleaning routine is very helpful to keep your spaces clean during the week and prevent a difficult major cleaning at the end of the week (or the day you choose to do a major cleaning).

While it may seem impossible on your really busy days, tidying up a little each day can make a big difference.
Things will stay nicely organized if you do a little bit here and there, and maintaining it will be effortless if you do a little bit here and there.

A typical weekly cleaning will take approximately three to five hours for a three-bedroom house, including wiping down the counters, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning the bathrooms. If you divide the cleaning chores up six days a week, you will spend 30 to 50 minutes daily on them.

Have a home for each item
Whenever you don't feel like putting something back where it belongs, you set it down on a surface, which leads to clutter collecting. This will help you have less clutter, and be more organized.

Putting similar items together can make a huge difference in how you organize your space.
Whenever you work on a category, make sure you grab everything that belongs to that category from anywhere in your house. You'll be able to see how much of something you have if everything is arranged by category - jeans in one corner, coffee mugs in another.

Get containers (big and small)
You can also keep things tidier around the house by keeping containers and bins on shelves so you can locate them when you need them.
If you store your things in a drawer or open bin, you're more likely to put them back where they belong.

Take your organizing strategy to the next level by supplementing it with affordable organizing products. Placing something into an open bin or a drawer with organizers, on the other hand, takes little effort and is far less tedious.

Make cleaning fun
Simple but powerful. Set a playlist while you clean (Spotify, Apple), and enjoy your favorite tunes while cleaning. After finishing, you'll feel better and the time will pass by faster.
